I’m a little late getting this week’s menu out because we really haven’t spent any time indoors doing anything, let alone my blog. We’re working hard to get the weeding and mulching finished, and have just been so happy to have such beautiful weather to work in. Of course, getting out of bed this morning after six hours of hard labor in the garden yesterday was no easy trick. The noise was deafening with all the moans, groans, creaks and cracks coming from us. It’s so nice that working outside like this is something we both enjoy doing together.
Between our good eating habits and all the work we’ve been doing outside in the yard, we’re having no trouble at all maintaining our weight, even with the occasional ice cream treat – or still-warm strawberry rhubarb cobbler delivered by a super sweet friend (boy, was that ever yummy!). So here is another week’s worth of delicious, fresh and healthy recipes.
