After putting together this week’s menu plan, I’ve noticed that I have three nights of mushrooms.  Not that this is any kind of a problem for me – mushrooms are one of my very favorite things.

Besides having such a delicious earthy flavor, mushrooms add a meaty kind of bulk to a meal, making it more satisfyingly filling.  They are low in calories and also have all kinds of health benefits (read about it here).

Bottom line, they’re a really good thing to incorporate into your meals if you’re trying to watch your calories.

Here are 5 new clean recipes to try.  Thursday’s Zucchini Ravioli is a recipe repeat because our company for the evening has specifically requested it.  We’re happy to eat this one again – it’s just that delicious!
