Today is one of those days for me.

When life gets all topsy-turvey, as it often does, how do you find your balance?

I looked in my usual first choice – the chocolate bowl, but that, not surprisingly, wasn’t the answer.

I looked for balance in a run with my buddy, Bear, but it wasn’t there either.

I tried calling my mom, but no one was home.

I tried looking for it in a hot shower, but alas, I wasn’t able to find anything to ease the craziness in my head there either.

What next?

I think today calls for the big guns.

So I chose one of my great-grandmother’s special teacups and made my favorite ginger peach tea.

And I grabbed my special love (and favorite therapist), Leo.

And together we sat on the couch with my crocheting, Downton Abbey and our tea . . . a perfect combination.

It’s no surprise that I started to feel more calm, and life began to improve.

What’s your go-to remedy for a rough day?  I think the most important thing is to remember this good advice:
